Now that you got your pasta, salmon, and peas ready, it’s time to put it all together. In a big ol’ skillet, heat up a little butter or olive oil, whatever you got. Throw in a couple of garlic cloves if you like the smell of it, or just keep it simple. Once it’s all nice and warm, throw in your pasta and peas. Give it a good stir, makin’ sure everything’s coated nice. If it’s lookin’ a little dry, add a bit of that pasta water you saved earlier. It’ll help make a nice little sauce.
Now, for the star of the show, the salmon. Once it’s all cooked and flaky, break it up into big chunks, and toss it in with the pasta and peas. Gently stir it all together, so the salmon don’t break apart too much. You want it to stay in nice big pieces so you can taste the fish in every bite.
To finish it off, you can add some cheese if you want. I like parmesan, but if you got mozzarella or cheddar, that’s fine too. A sprinkle of fresh herbs like parsley or dill always makes it look pretty, too. Give it a good mix, and you’re ready to serve!
